My children with my father — a moment that inspired everything Timeless Legacy stands for.
Why Every Life Deserves a Song
Eleven years ago, I lost my dad. Today, my mother is 84 and living with Alzheimer’s disease. Her memory is fading, and with it, everyday moments I never want to forget. Music has always brought the Spirit of God into my life — and when I hear the song about my dad, it feels like he’s right here again: a cowboy, a man of God who loved his children and his wife, the husband who kissed my mom in the kitchen just because. Those memories are sacred to me. I want my children and grandchildren to know my parents the way I did — not only through stories we tell, but through songs and videos that carry their voices and their faith forward.
I believe every life deserves a song. Not because songs make loss disappear, but because songs make love present. Music is a bridge — between earth and heaven, between our hearts and the people we miss, between our story and God’s comfort. Through Jesus Christ, we receive peace that the world can’t give, and I have felt that peace through music more times than I can count.
— John 14:18
The Moment That Changed Everything
One day I was talking with my son about creating videos and music, and I wondered aloud how beautiful it would be to write a song that helped us remember the person we lost — to really know them again. He said, “Mom, what if you used their obituary and family memories to write the lyrics?” I tried it for my dad, and in that moment I knew: this is what I’m called to do. I can help families turn stories and faith into songs that last.
What a Legacy Song Feels Like
A legacy song doesn’t erase grief. It holds it. It gathers the laughter, the lessons, the inside jokes, the favorite scripture, the way someone prayed or worked or loved — and it sets all of that to music so the memory becomes easy to carry. When a family hears “their” song for the first time, I’ve seen tears of joy and relief. I’ve seen shoulders soften. I’ve heard children say, “That sounds like Grandpa.” This is why every life deserves a song — because every life has a melody God can use to heal.
Faith at the Center
I am a Christian. I believe in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ we receive comfort and blessings, and through Him we will be reunited with those we love. I feel called to this work — to help connect people to Jesus and to their families through music and story. When we honor a life with faith, we’re not pretending the pain isn’t real; we’re remembering that love is eternal and God is near.
How a Story Becomes a Song
When a family invites me to create a legacy song, we begin with their stories — memories, photos, scripture, and small details that make a person who they are. From there, I write lyrics that sound like them, craft a melody that feels like home, and build a tribute video that lets their voice fill the room. It’s careful work, done with reverence and prayer. The result is something families can play on anniversaries, at services, or on quiet evenings when they just need to hear love again.
A Vision for Generations
I imagine families — not just the first generation, but generations after — visiting gravesides all over the world, scanning a small titanium QR code, and hearing a loved one’s song while watching their story unfold. I see tears of joy, learning, and testimonies of Jesus being built on the faith of ancestors. I see joy in their eyes as they celebrate and honor the person who taught them what love looks like.
Why Every Life Deserves a Song
Every life is a gift from God, and every person carries a melody the world needs. Songs help us remember who we come from. They help our children and grandchildren know the people who shaped us — not as names or dates, but as voices and stories they can feel. That is why I believe every life deserves a song.
If you’re ready to preserve the story of someone you love, I would be honored to help.
